A diamond tennis necklace is a continuous line of diamonds worn at the collarbone. A gold chain is worn alone or layered. A pendant hangs from a chain, a diamond or a pearl. Start with the type, then choose the length and the gold.

Every chain and pendant is solid metal, never plated. Plated gold is a thin layer that wears through where a necklace moves most, at the clasp and the back of the neck. Solid gold holds its colour and strength for a lifetime, and we price it fairly, without a showroom markup, so real gold costs less than you might expect.
CHOOSING A LENGTH
Around 40 to 45cm sits at the collarbone and flatters most necklines. Around 50cm sits lower and layers over a shorter chain. For one necklace to wear every day, 40 to 45cm is the safe and flattering choice.
HOW TO LAYER
Wear two or three chains of different lengths together, a shorter and a longer, with a pendant on one. Keep the lengths a few centimetres apart so each sits on its own, and mixing gold tones looks deliberate.
CARING FOR YOUR NECKLACES
Wipe them with a soft cloth, take them off before swimming or heavy cleaning, and store them flat or hung so they do not knot.
